SURGERY

Aesthetic Procedures and Minor Outpatient Surgeries

Sometimes we’re bothered by imperfections that may not affect our vision but life feels more pleasant and beautiful without them. We specialize in removing sagging eyelids, wrinkles, and various scars or defects in the skin around the eyes.
Some growths or “blemishes” near the eyes may not just be aesthetic concerns—they can pose health risks and should be removed with a minor surgical procedure.
Among non-invasive approaches, we use the patented Jett Plasma technology, which generates ionized air using direct electrical current and transforms it into plasma.

Minor Outpatient Procedures

We perform same-day outpatient surgical procedures for various skin defects. While these may appear cosmetic to a layperson, many of them have medical justification.
We surgically remove or treat diagnoses such as:

Upper/lower eyelid blepharoplasty
Chalazion (stye) of the eyelids
Ectropion/entropion of the lower eyelids
Xanthelasma on eyelid skin
Atheromas around the eyes
Verrucae (warts) near the eyes
Basal cell carcinoma or other skin tumors
Cornu cutaneum (cutaneous horn)
Fibromas around the eyes
Pterygium

Jett Plasma Method

The patented Jett Plasma technology uses direct current electrical discharges. Unlike alternating current, it affects a smaller area of tissue, making it exceptionally precise and preserving surrounding structures.

Surgeries using the Jett Plasma method

Non-Invasive Blepharoplasty

This method is used in the early stages of sagging eyelids, when fine wrinkling appears around the eyes.
Small electric discharges generate ionized air, which is converted into plasma—the fourth state of matter. This creates heat that stimulates and tightens the skin and subcutaneous tissue. The result is firmer, more elastic skin.
The Jett Plasma treatment also acts as a preventive measure, helping slow the progression of blepharochalasis (eyelid sagging).

Scar and Skin Defect Removal

We use Jett Plasma to non-invasively remove scars and small skin growths on the eyelids and surrounding areas.

We remove:

Scars * Verrucae (warts)
Fibromas Entropion
Xantelasma Ectropion

* small, deep, old, hard, protrudin..

Other Indications

The Jett Plasma method is also used in the treatment of chronic eyelid inflammation (blepharitis) and during the management of dry eye syndrome.

Jett Plasma vs. Laser – What’s the Difference?

Compared to high-powered CO₂ lasers (commonly used in aesthetic medicine), Jett Plasma offers several advantages:

  • Jett Plasma treats just 0.1 mm of skin per discharge, while a laser targets up to 3 mm, resulting in greater precision.
  • It’s safe to use near the eyelids and eyes, with no risk of injury.
  • The doctor evaporates skin layers gradually, without penetrating as deeply as a laser would—this prevents scarring.
  • The direct current used in Jett Plasma stimulates tissue cells to produce new collagen, which accelerates healing.

During the procedure, you can rely on our team of specialists.
