Children’s Comprehensive Eye Examination
At Dr. Böhm Eye Center, we examine children from the age of 6. A comprehensive eye exam for children, depending on age, includes the following:
– Visual acuity with and without glasses (objective refraction)
– Visual acuity under dilated pupils
– Tonometry – measuring intraocular pressure
– Pachymetry – corneal thickness measurement
– Slit-lamp exam – biomicroscopy
– Fundoscopy – retina and optic nerve evaluation
– Skiascopy – diopter measurement using skiascopic bars
– Eye movement and sstrabismus evaluation

At Dr. Böhm Eye Center, she focuses on comprehensive diagnostics of eye diseases, with specialization in pediatric ophthalmology and children’s vision disorders.

He is the lead retinal surgeon at the eye center and also performs cataract surgeries and treats complications related to cataract operations.
